Below we inform you about the data collected on this website and how it is used. You will also learn how to verify the accuracy of this information and how you can request that we delete this data.

In cooperation with our hosting providers, we do everything possible to protect databases against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or falsification. We would like to emphasise that the transmission of data over the Internet (for example, communication by email) may have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

By using this website, you accept the collection, processing and use of data as indicated here. This website can generally be viewed without registration. Data such as pages visited or the name of the file accessed, the date and time are stored on the server for statistical purposes without this data being directly linked to your person. Personal data, in particular name, address or email address, is collected on a voluntary basis wherever possible. Data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.

1. Scope

Personal data is all information relating to an identified or identifiable person. A data subject is a person about whom personal data is processed. Processing includes any handling of personal data, regardless of the means and procedures used, including storage, communication, obtaining, deletion, retention, modification, destruction and use of personal data.

We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law. In addition, we process personal data in accordance with the following legal bases in relation to Art. 6(1) GDPR, insofar as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) is applicable:

  • lit. a) the data subject has consented to the processing of their personal data.
  • lit. b) processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.
  • lit. c) processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject, where applicable under EU law or the law of a state in which the GDPR applies in whole or in part.
  • lit. d) processing is necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or of another natural person.
  • lit. f) processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by us or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data. Legitimate interests include, in particular, our commercial interest in operating the website and offering our services, information security, enforcing our own rights and compliance with Swiss law.

We process personal data for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or purposes. In the case of long-term retention obligations due to legal or other obligations to which we are subject, we will limit processing accordingly.

2.4 Cookies

We usually use cookies on our website. These are small text files stored by your web browser that store certain settings and data for exchange with our web server. This technology makes it possible to recognise individual users as (returning) visitors and to offer them personalised services and products. In general, the use of cookies serves to improve our services, make them more efficient and more secure. These cookies may also be necessary, for example, to manage shopping carts or payments. A cookie does not always mean that we can identify you.

You can configure your browser settings so that no cookies are stored on your computer. Completely disabling cookies may mean that you cannot use all the functions of our website.

By continuing to use our website and/or accepting this data protection statement, you consent to us placing cookies and therefore to the collection, storage and use of personal usage data, even after the browsing session has ended. You can revoke this consent at any time by activating the browser default setting to refuse third-party cookies.

2.5 Analytics tools: Google Analytics

This website may use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files placed on your web browser, to help the website analyse how users use the site (see Cookies above). The information generated by the cookies (browser type/version, operating system used, referrer URL of the previously visited website, IP address, time of server connection) about your use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in Europe or the United States and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on our website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in Europe or the United States and shortened there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the site, compiling reports on site activity for its operator and providing other services relating to site activity and Internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. The IP address transmitted by your browser within Google Analytics is not combined with other Google data.

You can refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser, but please note that if you do so you may not be able to use all the functions of this website. By using this website, you accept the processing of data collected about you by Google in the manner described above and for the purpose stated above. Further information about the web analytics service used can be found on the Google Analytics website. Instructions on how to prevent the web analytics service from processing your data can be found at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=fr.

Processing of data in connection with these plug-ins is carried out with your consent when you use these plug-ins.

If you use the services of these social networks independently or in connection with our website, the social networks will evaluate your use of the plug-ins. In this case, information about the plug-in is transmitted to the social networks.

Google Maps services are used on our website (for example, on screen or via interfaces/API). Google LLC, USA, may therefore process information about your actual location. Google uses various technologies to determine your location, such as IP addresses, GPS and other sensors that provide Google with information about nearby devices, WLAN access points or mobile phone antennas, for example.

The data stored will be deleted by us when it is no longer needed for the stated purpose. With regard to deletion of data, it should be noted that we are subject to certain legal obligations which require that certain data be retained. We must comply with this obligation.
